Leisure Games in Sustainability Garden of Greenhouse Café Restaurant in Clark Philippines

Halfway through the stroll along the gardens of this restaurant in Clark Pampanga, guests may make a brief stop to at the Leisure Game Corner.   Here they can try their hands on time-honoured garden games of horseshoe pitching and cornhole boards.  For those not familiar with the games, here is a quick refresher course on the rules for a simplified (entry-level) game:

CORNHOLE BAG TOSS
A cornhole bag that goes through the hole is worth 3 points.
A cornhole bag that lands on the board and stays there is worth 1 point.
21 points to WIN

HORSESHOE PITCH
Any shoe must be within one horseshoe-width (measured across the outside of the open end of the shoe) of the stake to be considered for points.
3 points for each ringer.  (horseshoe must completely encircle the stake)
2 points for leaners

(A “leaner” is when the shoe is leaning against the stake in some sort of upright position, but not encircling it. Leaners are worth 2 points.)

1 point for a near-miss
3 pitches, total scores count
